According to Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s recollections: “During the collapse of the Soviet Union the corporation faced serious problems with the customs clearance of goods. The turnover had stagnated, and the factory could have lost about four billion (in coupons) because of it.” In just one month Kozlovskyy managed to save more than 2 billion. In gratitude, the factory’s director gave him a $100 bonus. He was then appointed head of the department of foreign economic activity.

- As Hryhoriy sincerely fell in love with his “brainchild”, he began building up the soccer academy with high hopes for its future. The academy is the first of its kind so far and has no analogues in Ukraine. He believes that the academy will develop and become independent of his financial support.
- Since February 24, 2022, due to the invasion of multiple Ukrainian cities, the academy started looking after about 350 children, who were unable to return home.
